Today was the last day for load revisions. I never had any need to avail of such process. But this semester proved to be different. Yes, I'm scared of the whole prospect of thesis. And I don't think I can pull it off on my own. Fortunately, I was able to snag awesome thesis partners. But they weren't able to get the same thesis adviser as I did. Their schedules prevented them from moving to my class. But I was free to transfer to theirs. That being said, I set out this morning to do load rev for the first time in my college life.
Being a first timer, I was completely clueless about the whole procedure. I had to ask tons of friends and eavesdrop on several others just to figure out how to get through it. It took me six hours of waiting and running around to finally finish everything. D: Needless to say, I am dead tired and my legs feel like their about to fall off. But all in all, it was a very educational experience. xD At least, I'll get to graduate with the knowledge of how to do some load rev. LOL.
I'll finally be with my thesis partners. AND, my mis/adventures did me some good.
While waiting for the Registrar's office to sign my load rev form, I realized I hadn't eaten anything since last night and my stomach was practically wailing to be be fed. I forced myself to walk all the way to the cafeteria (which was unsurprisingly overflowing with students). I grabbed a sandwich and headed to the DSWS office. Thankfully, the people there took me in like a lost kitten (after I ate my sandwich outside) and gave me a place to sit. I think I was the only non-core member there. Yes, I have no shame. xD
I didn't want to disturb anyone so I pulled out Micky (the macbook) and started surfing (thank goodness for the wifi!). One of the members made small talk and I saw that he also had a macbook. I hesitantly asked him if he had a working MS Office 2008 installer. Lo and behold! He did! I scrambled to find a USB (which Jose generously let me use). 15 minutes later, Micky had MS Office along with several other programs. HUZZAH! All thanks to Greg Yu, Jose Banzon and my load rev mis/adventures. xD
Photo of the day. Yes, I'm in the library again after a long day of load rev. xD Shoot me for maximizing my use of the school's wifi.
Other events, I bumped into Rian and gave her my Bonamana Eunhyuk photocard. I am hoping that my good deed will land me a Siwon photocard. But oh well. It seems highly unlikely. I also ran into several of my blockmates that I haven't seen in ages. Anna-lou, Chyna and Jayce. ^^ If that whole load rev thing didn't take long, this would've been a really really good day. Although it was weird how several people asked me if I went/was going to the Beast fanmeet. Did I look like a fan? No offense. I like their song Shock. But I've been losing enthusiasm with the whole Kpop invading the Philippines thing. Le gasp!
